BC Housing Workshop – Building Smart with Safe and Durable Wall Assemblies

This half-day workshop, presented in partnership with the British Columbia Building Envelope Council (BCBEC), focuses on the thermal and moisture performance of highly insulated wall assemblies for new and retrofit buildings. Industry experts will discuss the latest research with practical solutions for building durable assemblies. The use of low permeance materials, insulation strategies, drainage systems, ventilation gaps, cladding attachments and the selection of curtain-wall componets to enhance thermal performance will be addressed.

This event is eligible for professional learning credits:

  • AIBC 3.5 Core Learning Units
  • ASTTBC qualifies for CPD points
  • BC Housing Builder Licensing CPD Credits: 3.5 points (Group A–Construction Technology)
  • BOABC 4 CPD points
  • RCI 3.5 CEHs
